This is a great place to off-road. If you're up for it, make an off-road night run as well! Where to stay For great, 4WD friendly camping/lodging I'd recommend Crawford's Camp Ground. They have campsites and cabins. Bathrooms are always clean. Laundry facilities on premisis. Large covered pavilion w/ tables. Even has a rock garden & RTI ramp for campground "crawling" in 4WD!
Ask for Danny (Owner). He's friendly, good people - Runs a great campground! http://www.crawfordsattellico.com/
There are no motels/hotels near the trails, everything is located in the town of Murphy. There are a few cabins for rent near the trails.
Where to eat and drink There's nothing near the trails. The nearest town with restaurants is Murphy (about 14 miles/25 min. drive away). They have a Super Wal*Mart, McDonalds, Taco Bell, and other typical fast food restaurants.
Recommend packing coolers of food for this trip -- Can refill groceries, etc. at Wal*Mart if need be.
Where to go for repairs Danny has a garage on premisis at Crawford's Campground - For a fee, it is rentable. There is a Auto Zone type store in town in Murphy as well.
Things to do and places to go when you are not offroading Roast marshmallows and hot dogs around the campfire with friends at the campground -- Can't go wrong here - Always great fun!
