note that most privately owned parks have pictures in their park profiles, but most of the public land parks and trails don't.
how do you know if the park is privately owned or if it's a public land? if you see the words "PUBLIC LAND" in red in land profile, then it is indeed a public land.
the reason for the lack of pictures is simple - park owners send me pictures when they register their parks, but i list public lands myself. i don't have pictures for each and every one of them, and i don't want to just "steal" them from random websites.
so, if you wheeled at a PUBLIC LAND whose profile does not yet have pictures, and you are willing to share yours, email them to me or post LINKS to your pictures here. by doing so you give me the permission to edit your pictures as necessary.
there will be UP TO THREE pictures per land profile and existing pictures will NOT be changed unless requested by the picture submitter. this means that if there already are THREE pictures in a certain land profile, please don't send me more pictures.
when posting/sending links, make sure that you link to a PICTURE, not an album, and don't ask me to pick what i like. i'm sorry, i just don't have time for it, so PLEASE pick the ones you like yourself.
although i would LOVE to post as many pictures as possible, i reserve the right to reject any picture that you submit. the main reasons would be:
- irrelevance
- poor picture quality
- picture too small (must be 320x240 pixels or larger)
- not enough action (no parking lot pictures please)
understand that once accepted, your pictures become property of the Off Road Lands.

What about a picture from Goggle Earth? That would show what is covered by the park. People could get an idea of the size that way.

the idea behind the pictures was to show what fun a place can be... plus there already is one map in every listing, two may just be too many........ but i'll think about it  |

i'm extending it to PRIVATELY OWNED parks as well.
if park owners request to remove pics from their listing, i will, but i honestly doubt they will ever do that, so send me your pics, people!

Here's some info on Tuttle Creek ORV at Randolph, KS (Not really at Manhattan KS, but Manhattan is the closest big city, Randolph has the closest gas and motel).
Entrance is at N39 24.642 W96 44.331
I will get around to doing a write up on the park someday soon. But I thought I'd let you know where the entrance was. Because where you have the park on the map for the it is way off.

i got the address from their website, and i already had "Placing on the map is approximate" in the additional notes section of their listing. the maps API i'm using for Land listings accepts streets addresses with no problem, i'll have to tweak it to accept GPS coordinates as well. i'll do it when i have a bit more free time
